Boulder, CO, April 2, 2009 - GoLite, the world’s premier producer of lightweight outdoor gear and apparel for active outdoor adventures, announced a 93% sales increase in sales from Q1 2008 to Q1 2009.

The results stem from strong increases in each of the company’s three key regions: the Americas, Europe and Asia, in both sales per existing door, as well as new accounts.

“Outstanding product is certainly the key driver of our success. Over the last two years we’ve made a significant investment in product which is now coming to market. Dealers that have not carried GoLite gear before are now jumping on-board. And those who have cherry picked key products from our line historically are now purchasing more broadly across multiple categories,” says Demetri Coupounas, co-founder and president.

Boulder, CO, June 11th, 2007 —  As GoLite expands its presence and focuses attention on retail partners, the company is pleased to announce the appointment of industry leader Canice Harte as Vice President of Sales in charge of GoLite’s U.S. apparel and equipment sales. He will be joining an experienced and dedicated management team in Boulder, CO, including long-time industry veteran Kevin Volz, GoLite’s Sales Manager.

“GoLite is experiencing high double digit growth. As we continue to grow and deepen our presence within specialty outdoor, we are expanding our sales team to meet that growth,” said company co-founder and President Demetri Coupounas.

Prior to GoLite, Mr. Harte served as Vice President of Sales for Rossignol Softgoods; he also has extensive sales experience with respected brands such as Salomon, The North Face, Patagonia, and Sierra Designs.
