If you live in Utah you knew who Doug Miller was. In fact you may have known of him where ever you live. He was one of Utah’s most well-known and respected television personalities. Mr. Miller began suffering discomfort Monday, July 31st, and passed away peacefully August 20, 2006 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, surrounded by his family.

Doug Miller is a legend in Utah television and radio broadcasting, best known for his weekly half-hour program Outdoors with Doug Miller on KUTV Channel 2. His deep and distinctive Arkansas twang, easy story-telling ability and infectious enthusiasm for everything outdoors have drawn viewers to their sets each Saturday night as Doug shared with his audience his latest adventure in pursuit of “wild places and wild things.”

Our Condolences go out to his family and his friends. They should all take comfort in knowing how much joy he brought to people’s lives for many years.
